This is a study for a larger in-studio work, the Bat Barn, and a live mural painting competition at the Ohio State Fair. I took first place with the mural. It's funny how people at the fair were sure they drove by this barn, but it's not visible from the road. I added the "Ohio" to the barn in the painting because the theme of the mural competition was "Ohio". The barn is over 100 years old, located in southern Ohio, and is home to a colony of bats and ground hog dens.
